Description

This trail gains about 1200ft in it's 2.5 miles to the top which rests at 8054ft of elevation. Starting off from the Crater Lake Lodge you'll quickly leave the paved section of the trail before starting the ascent. There are numerous opportunities for viewing the lake as you climb. At one point you pass a water pumping station built into the side of the crater.
Winding up to the crater's rim you'll eventually find yourself at Garfield Peak and enjoy a full view of the surrounding around.
